The Studio
Sophie is a graduate of Central Saint Martins Fine Art and trained at the Royal Drawing School. Her practice is rooted in observation — the discipline of looking closely, understanding form, and translating what is seen with clarity and restraint. Living and working in Cornwall, her studio sits between coastline and meadow. The landscape is not aesthetic backdrop but subject: wildflowers bending against Atlantic winds, lichen etched into stone, the quiet architecture of plants that endure.

The Ecology of Colour
Each ecosystem follows its own chromatic rules.
Cornish Bloom holds maritime blues balanced with copper — vitality against sea air.
Alpine is restrained: white, slate, brushed silver — clarity at altitude.
Desert moves through ochre and clay — endurance under exposure.
Rainforest deepens into shadowed greens and matte black — regeneration beneath the canopy. These palettes are not seasonal decisions.
They are environmental responses.
Colour is treated as structure, not trend.

Formulation Research
Our research focuses on protective and strengthening actives derived from alpine plants. By studying their antioxidant and cryoprotective mechanisms, we create formulations that revitalise tired skin, improve tone, and enhance natural resilience, supporting recovery from cold, dryness, and environmental stress.
Visual Identity
The Alpine Collection reflects the clarity and stillness of high mountain air. Frosted whites and slate greys are accented by a polished silver lid, a nod to glacial light and the quiet purity found at altitude, above the tree line.
